Reserved spaces for the buffet dinner at Imaginarium 2018 are now available!  The price for each reserved space is the same as last year, $29.95. There will be a seating area for those wanting to watch the awards ceremony who do not want the dinner buffet. Nominations are now open for the 2018 Imadjinn Awards! Both published and self-published authors are eligible for the 2018 awards, which will be given in 14 categories for works published for the first time during 2017. The Imadjinn Awards were introduced in 2016, the third year of the Imaginarium Convention, to recognize exceptional literary works in all genres. Imaginarium 2014’s Film Festival will debut a new series of awards for projects being screened at the event. Awards for 2014 will be given in 11 categories, with a winner and runner-up declared in each category. Added emphasis has been given to screenplays as Imaginarium is a convention centered around creative writing. Imaginarium 2014 is now accepting volunteer applications, for those would would like to help out during the weekend in exchange for a pass to the full event. Previous experience as a volunteer is not a necessity, but if you have some experience with conventions it is a big plus.  Some areas where volunteers will be able to help include registration, panel track monitoring, film festival, art show, security, metal show, dealer room, gaming, banquet/awards, and guest services. Imaginarium 2014’s Film Festival Call for Entries is now active and the Art Show is now open for artists wishing to exhibit their works at the convention taking place September 19-21 in Louisville, Ky. The Imaginarium 2014 Film Festival will screen features, documentaries, and short films in all genres.
