Imaginarium 2027 proudly welcomes award-winning author and poet Michael Williams as a Spotlighted Guest! Michael is one of the original authors in the bestselling DRAGONLANCE Series with the novels “Weasel’s Luck” and “Galen Beknighted,” Michael is also the author of “Arcady,” a novel singled out for praise by Locus and Asimov’s magazines.
Michael’s recent work includes the acclaimed mythic fiction City Quartet—four magical realist novels set in a city that is/is not Louisville, Kentucky—that has received widespread critical acclaim! His latest publication, “Farewell Tour” (2026), is a long narrative poem that ties to the novels in the City Quartet, because what is a quartet without a fifth?
Michael has a Ph.D. in Humanities, and he taught until 2022 at the University of Louisville, where he focused on the Modern Fantastic in fiction and film. He is a member of the Imagination Hall of Fame.
