Illustration was my entry drug into the entertainment field. I started creating Disney styled drawings then move into comic-book styled art. My first real business venture was with a short-lived, Louisville-based, independent comic company called “Slipstream.” I self-published a one-shot called “Diona” and worked on contracted comic projects, touring the comic convention scene. For a brief period, I worked in the Louisville television market and “moonlighted” as a contractor for corporate/small business video clients to gain knowledge of the video industry. I took those skills and worked behind the scenes, producing photo shoots and video projects in the local Fashion industry with photographer, Bil Brown and on a few occasions designer, Gunnar Deatherage. My adventures in Fashion took me through several markets, including Nashville and New York. During that time, I made a lot of connections and began collaborating with a film team, which included screenwriter John Risner, on a dark thriller set in the world of photography called “Out of Frame.” My roles on the film include producer, production designer, editor, and music composer. Currently, my projects are collected under my new production company, “Omnestream.” In 2017, our team is working on a list of exciting projects, including an anthology book based on the “Out of Frame” brand which will include stories by local Louisville talent, a film fest tour with Out of Frame, (we would like to showcase the film at the Imaginarium) and the startup of our new full-length feature film production.
