I am a passionate advocate for the preservation and protection of our natural world. Now retired, I enjoy writing and traveling to still wild places and less traveled destinations. For career, I worked as a U.S. government special agent and contractor, as well as a security consultant and private investigator in the private sector. Holistic health addressing body, mind, and spirit has always been a strong interest of mine and I am certified as a traditional naturopath and a clinical hypnotherapist. A joy in my life was coaching the Allegheny College cross country team in the 80s and 90s. I just published my first book, a children’s story (IMAGINE THAT: THE MAGIC OF THE MYSTERIOUS LIGHTS) and am presently at work on a suspense novel and another children’s book. I am very grateful to now have the time and opportunities to pursue my goal of creating meaningful and entertaining stories. Living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, it is wonderful to enjoy exploring the many small towns and villages that make up this culturally rich and fascinating area.
