Charles David is the creator of the Far Away Land Role-Playing Game (under the pseudonym Dirk Stanley). He is an artist, game designer, and writer and has recently published a novel entitled The Way Things End (Tartarus Press, 2019) which is a pre-apocalyptic book of magical realism that features whales, angels riding tornadoes, reincarnation, experiencing the aleph, and a bunch of sad and lonely people facing the end of the world.
Charles is an Assistant Professor of English in the School of Liberal Studies and an adjunct in the Masters in Professional Writing Program at Spalding University.
