Teri Kay Jobe is a fantasy author with Three Ravens Publishing and an audiobook narrator since 2021 (also with Three Ravens). Originally from northern Pennsylvania, she now lives in south-eastern Colorado. Teri has loved fiction books, and fantasy in particular, since she was 3 years old, laying on top of her fathers’ recliner while he read stories aloud. The tables turned as she got older, and soon reading out loud to others became a regular occurrence for Teri, and she honed her skills by imitating other great narrators of the audiobooks she listened to constantly. Becoming a Park Ranger for the National Park Service gave her the chance to tell stories about history to a wide variety of audiences. With the start of the pandemic, more digital opportunities became available, and she finally entered the world of professional audiobook narration, something she had dreamed about doing when she was young.

Teri’s love of stories doesn’t stop at narration. With what many would call a vivid imagination, she has written several little stories over the years, often with a magical element to them. One story started as a game, bouncing ideas off of a friend when Teri was a teenager. But long after the game ended, the seed of the story remained, parts of it sprouting into backstory, other characters, and what the world of that story would look like. Eventually, the branches of the original idea bloomed into what became Teri’s first novel.

As the daughter of a singer/songwriter and a librarian, Teri hopes to carry on the family legacy of storytelling. For her, stories are the backbone of society, whether they be the stories of history or the stories created in peoples’ imaginations. They are all important, and she intends to keep telling them.
