Born and raised in the heart of Kentucky’s bourbon country, R. C. Reid is an amateur historian and espionage aficionado who always wanted to write fiction.
An uber fan of the works of John D. MacDonald, Edward S. Aarons and Daniel Silva, he longed to see well-written female protagonists in the action-espionage genre and so created both the Mother Russia and the Morrigan thriller series. With his friend Tim Bischoff, he is the vice president and editor at Southern Wilds Publishing.
Star Trek, Shakespeare and English history are several of his other passions, and with five friends, he is one of the producers and hosts of the Snakes and Otters podcast (available on all major platforms) with 10,000+ downloads to date and counting.
