Lynn Tincher is an author, bookstore owner, podcaster, and writing coach dedicated to empowering storytellers and building community through books. She owns From the Ground Up Books, with locations in La Grange and Shepherdsville, Kentucky, where she champions local authors, celebrates readers, and embraces the haunted history of the Ballard House, home of her La Grange store.
She is the author of multiple series, including the paranormal Mind Bending thrillers, the forthcoming young adult fantasy Winberie Journals, and the Everyday Magic spirituality series. Lynn also writes The Literary Lynnch Pen, her weekly writing column for the Oldham Era, and co-hosts the Weirdos in the Wild podcast.
Through From the Ground Up Author Services and programs like PenCrafters, Lynn mentors indie authors at every stage of the publishing process. She also leads the John B Tincher and James L Calvert Independent Literary Foundation, which provides resources and support for writers and communities in need. Her initiatives such as Pixie Drops, a collectible flash fiction series, and the Kentuckiana Author Trail reflect her mission to elevate authors and inspire readers.
When she is not writing, coaching, or leading ghost tours of her haunted bookstore, Lynn is building a creative empire from Kentucky one story, one author, and one reader at a time.
