
Kelly Ferguson worked in the magazine industry for more than a decade, serving on the editorial staff of publications in both the outdoors industry and the science/technology category. Since establishing her freelance career, she has edited books for best-selling authors James Hunter, Aaron Crash, and Nick Harrow. One of her projects, Moonshots by billionaire Naveen Jain, was named a Best Book of 2018 by Kirkus Reviews.
She is currently a columnist for Archery Business magazine and the product manager for Shadow Alley Press and Black Forge Books. In addition, she is the author of Loosed Hearts, a romantic comedy set in small-town Kentucky. Ferguson earned her MFA in creative writing from the University of Memphis, where she was awarded the Moss Fellowship. Her poetry has appeared in the Beloit Poetry Journal, and her short story “How to Get Over a Pilot” was a finalist for the Glimmer Train Short Story Award for New Writers.
