KB Carlisle is the author of The Book of Rose -winner of the Imadjinn Award for best YA novel 2024- as well as The Dreams of Gemini -finalist for the Imadjinn Award for best YA novel 2025- and A Melody in the Mist, the final chapter of The Emergence trilogy.
He is also a father, gamer, painter, former time-traveler and a panda enthusiast. When he isn’t writing, he enjoys spending time with his family next to a large body of water or hiking in the mountains (depending on what time of year it is). He is terrible at writing bios, so he asked his wife to write this for him. She said no and that he better not ever wake her up at three in the morning to ask her to write anything for him ever again. He also laughs at his own jokes, whether they are funny or not.
