For many years, JILLIAN BOEHME was known to the online writing community as Authoress, hostess of Miss Snark’s First Victim, which boasted 60+ success stories through its agent-populated contests and critique rounds. Though the blog is no longer active, its archives are a rich source of information and encouragement for aspiring authors.
In addition to running the blog, Jillian spent several years as a freelance editor. She is the author of Stormrise and The Stolen Kingdom, both from Tor Teen, and considers herself the poster child for Never Giving Up (it took her twelve years to finally see her first book published).
Jillian spends her non-writing time as an elementary music teacher and choir director while continuing to homeschool her remaining youngster-at-home. She’s still crazy in love with her husband of more than thirty years and is happy to be surrounded by family and friends amid the rolling knolls of Middle Tennessee.
