Jan Schiffer has been a life-long journal writer. After retiring from a career in an alternative program classroom, her passion for journaling and research led her to compose her award-winning memoir, Finding the Rest of Me. The book is her personal adoption story and narrative delving into the history and evolution of the Quaker unwed mother’s home where the author was born. Jan resides in her country home on a cliff above the Kentucky River, in Central Kentucky, with her husband and pets.
