Gavin Kelly is a multi-talented force in the entertainment world-a filmmaker, signed country recording artist, paranormal investigator, author, and podcast host. Born in Southern California, Gavin’s journey has taken him from the stage and screen to haunted locations across the country, and everywhere in between.

He got his start performing in musicals, TV shows, and even major motion pictures, including Country Strong by Sony Pictures and the classic sitcom Growing Pains. But in 2012, his passion for the paranormal led him to found Phantasmic Ghost Hunters, which quickly caught the attention of an independent network and launched a 13-episode series that brought in over 40,000 viewers.

Since then, Gavin has co-founded In the Shadows Entertainment Group, producing multiple TV shows and documentaries, including the hit series The Paranormal Journey: Into the Unknown, where he leads investigations alongside his wife and research partner, Paula Purcell-Kelly. The two travel the country documenting life after death, and their work has been featured on Amazon Prime Video, with several seasons already available to stream.

Gavin is also the host and creator of Phantasmic Journey Podcast, now in its third season, where he’s interviewed some of the biggest names in the paranormal world-like Amy Bruni, Adam Berry, Katrina Weidman, the Ghost Brothers, and the Tennessee Wraith Chasers. The podcast airs live every Wednesday night at 8 PM CST and has built a dedicated fan base nationwide.

Outside the paranormal, Gavin’s music career continues to thrive. He’s a signed artist with Mirror Image Records in Nashville and released his debut album Honolulu Blue in 2011, which was re-released in 2019. His blend of heartfelt storytelling and country roots has earned him a loyal following.

Most recently, Gavin and Paula launched the TV series Truth or Legends in Your Hometown, currently filming its third season. They’ve explored over 125 haunted locations across the country and continue to grow their brand with new shows, books, and live appearances at conventions.

Whether he’s behind the camera, in front of the mic, or chasing ghosts, Gavin Kelly is all about telling compelling stories-and he’s just getting started.
