Author, artist, and entertainment journalist Gabrielle Faust has predominantly focused her work within the dystopian cyberpunk horror, horror, and dark fantasy genres for her long-form work including short stories, novels, and novellas. In 2026 she celebrated the release of her thirteenth novel, Haunted: The Missing and is currently at work on simultaneously the second novel in the Haunted series, as well as a gritty cyberpunk horror novel entitled Ghenna.

Crowned “Vampire Royalty of New Orleans” in 2010, she is best known for her post-apocalyptic vampire series Eternal Vigilance which received high international praise by critics and readers alike.

Her work as an entertainment journalist and editorial illustrator has appeared in dozens of publications including Weird Tales Magazine, Austin Food & Wine Magazine, SyFy, Blastr, Fear Zone, Girls & Corpses Magazine, Revelator, and Gothic Beauty Magazine among many others. Her short fiction and poetry has appeared in multiple collections and anthologies such as High Stakes, Texas Roadkill, Sleeve of Hearts, and Black Magic.

Prior to her career as an author she was the co-founder of the International Housing Program for twenty years at the legendary South by Southwest Music Festival. From 2011 to 2013 she co-hosted the podcast Nocturnal Confessions along with erotic dark artist and photographer David De Lara, highlighting the avante garde and underground arts and literary scene, with a focus on the gothic. Faust had appeared as a featured guest at dozens of conventions across the United States where she has spoken on the art and craft of writing, as well as teaching courses on self-marketing for aspiring and established authors.

In addition to her literary pursuits, Gabrielle Faust’s paintings have been shown in multiple galleries throughout Texas and works as a freelance illustrator and editor. Her love of the culinary world has led her to pen her first cookbook, which she hopes to release in 2030. Today she lives in Texas with her cat Theo.
