Established in 2003 based in Louisville, KY, Poetry of the Dead is a metal band created by front-man Jayson William Allen (lead vocals/guitar), along with Kenny Baker (lead guitar), Namon Brothers (rhythm guitar), Chris Wethington (drums/percussion), and Carl Webb Jr. (bass). Together they incorporate a grim eclectic style which gives them their own unique, transcendent sound. With their groundbreaking first album Guided by Despair, along with their follow up album Once Upon a Lie, junior album Mourn the Harvest, and their most recent release The Autumn Masquerade (2017), Poetry of the Dead has become a regionally recognized touring and headlining act. Performing in-your-face heavy metal mixed with hard rock, Gothic, and symphonic elements, Poetry of the Dead is a high energy, nonstop thrill ride of darkness, horror, pain, and beauty that your ears and eyes will not believe.

Deny the Fallen is a rock/metal band primarily based in Kentucky and Florida. The band is known for modern edged vocals, heavy grooves accompanied by sequencing, progressive bass, and power drumming.
Rey Parra (Sacred Warrior, Worldview) fronts the band as lead vocalist. Jon Johnson (Sacred Warrior, Zeal) guitars and vocals. Erik Kyr (KYR, Zeal) Bass and vocals. Josh Johnson (Zeal) Drums.
Each member brings their own perspective and technique to create a blend of rock/metal from yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Giving a multi-generational sound and message that speaks to the old and young of all rock/metal erras.
Symptoms of Eternity is their first credit. The album has sparked a high peak interest in the band. It was written and produced by Jon Johnson with Rey Parra. Their first collaboration since Sacred Warrior.
Jon and Erik have also played in many projects together over 3 decades. The addition of Josh being added to the lineup solidified the core band to setup one of rock’s premier metal groups.

And darkness was upon the land. All that was, was no more. The land lay wasted in ruins. No words were spoken. No songs were sung. Music was in a state of chaos. Its direction unknown. But one day, in the forest and through the trees, a voice cam calling. Calling from above. Calling for “The Awakening.” The wind carried the voice throughout the land in hopes that it would be heard. When all had seemed to fail, there stirred a movement in the ashes. And from the ashes arose a strong and powerful group of musicians called – “Worhol.” An army of chosen ones who would bring forth to the land a new and inspirational voice in music. Thou shall be Awakened.
