Fred Phillips has been writing stories since elementary school when he pecked them out with two fingers on a turquoise Remington manual typewriter he found in his grandparents’ closet.
He is the author of the middle grade novels “Dreams of Gold and Fire” and “Sons of Gold and Fire” from Raconteur Press, along with many fantasy and horror short stories.
Born and raised in Louisiana, Fred still lives there with his wife, son, and a couple of cats who showed up and adopted them. When he’s not exploring the worlds of fantasy and horror in his head, he can usually be found exploring the swamps, forests, and bayous of his home state with his son.
