
Darlene (M.A.) is a Kentucky author, artist, and educator. Her other works include I Listened, Momma, Touched, Looking for Pork Chop McQuade, What Have You Done Now, Rosie Putt? and When I was a Kid in Kentucky. She is a national award-winning poet, whose work has been included in numerous publications and literary journals. Her book Uncommon Clay was the first recipient of the national Mary Ballard Award.
In addition to writing, Darlene is a highly sought-after artist, specializing in fine art and murals.
