Award winning author, Carma Haley Shoemaker, was disappointed discovering she was too short to be a Rockette. Now she dances in her living room between writing the chapters of her latest work-in-progress.

While working as traveling nurse, (long ago, in a far away place), Carma lived in several states with her family before moving back home to Ashland, Ohio. There she remains, living with with her master, a black feline named Mystic, watching British Baking shows, reruns of Supernatural and Stranger Things, while contemplating compelling and sinister ways to “kill her darlings.”
