Cameron McCasland is an Emmy nominated writer, director, & film producer. His feature length directorial debut “The Lashman” garnered high praise from critics and received multiple accolades at film festivals including being named Indie Director of the year at the Indieville TV Awards.

He has produced music videos for musical acts Quiet Company, Florida Georgia Line, Big & Rich, Maren Morris, Dallas Smith, Christian Lopez, and Chris Lane amongst others totaling millions of online views which include several #1 songs on the Billboard charts, and featured in Rolling Stone, Good Morning America, Today, and American Idol.

His half hour documentary “Dallas Smith:Lifted- A Nashville record” has been seen nationally broadcast on CMT Canada. In addition his short for documentary web series “I Heard The Devil Say My Name Out Loud” about Austin Texas Rock Band Quiet Company took top honors at the Communicator and Omni Awards.

His production company Red Headed Revolution partnered with Element Twenty Two to produce three hit feature length films Including More Scenes From A Gay Marriage, Paternity Leave, and What’s The Matter With Gerald.

McCasland has been touring film festivals with a series of award winning narrative short films including Tailypo, H.P. Lovecraft’s The Beast in the Cave, and the old west drama The Prisoner Of Perdition.

In 2018 McCasland took a producer role with Addiction Campuses Network in Nashville, TN Developing multiple episodic digital documentary series including the award winning Around The Turn, and Modalities. He also wrote, directed, and produced the feature length sports documentary Jumpin’ Johnny about Harlem Globetrotters Legend Dr. John Kline.

His work has picked up back to back honors at the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award for best short film and series of other industry awards including multiple nominations from Nashvilles MidSouth Emmy Awards chapter. The Texas born film maker lives in Nashville with his wife and two daughters.
