About David Simms:

David Simms lives in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia after escaping decades of surviving New Jersey. A psychology teacher and college professor, counselor, music therapist, book reviewer, and ghost tour guide, he has endured a long tenure in the Slushpile/Killer Thriller Band band on lead guitar after co-founding the absolutely awful Killer Thriller Band with several best-selling ITW and HWA authors(including former GOH F. Paul Wilson).

ABERRANT is his newest novel (fall 2026) to accompany four others in horror, thriller, YA, MG, and speculative fiction realms. He has over three dozen short stories published.
