About Lindsay Schultz
Lindsay Schultz is a bookstore owner, artist, and podcaster who owns The Spine Bookshop, located in Smyrna, TN. The Spine celebrates local and independently published authors, and spotlights banned books. The shop hosts a wide range of events, including children’s story times (Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m.), book clubs, craft sessions, and a Veterans Coffee Hour on Friday mornings.
A co-host of the Well, Actually podcast, with author W. C. Turck, Lindsay also hosts The Spine Podcast: Chronicles of a Bookshop, where she shares behind-the-scenes stories, author conversations, and the joys and challenges of running a small-town bookshop.
Lindsay is well-known as a banned book activist, participating often in events on the topic, and she is a member of The Banned Book Brigade
