Synopsis:
Welcome to the third Marathonarium Anthology of short stories! The Marathonarium Anthologies reflect the spirit of the Imaginarium Convention, whose mission statement is the following:
“To foster and inspire imagination, one creative at a time. Create and make your world everything you imagine it to be.”
The Imaginarium Convention embraces and celebrates all forms and genres of creative writing. In the pages of this anthology, you will see that comprehensive approach demonstrated with skill and creativity.
All of the short stories within this anthology are the result of a creative journey that began on Thursday, July 16th, of 2025, on the eve of the 12th Imaginarium Convention.
Writers from all across the nation, in a variety of styles and genres, undertook a marathon writing session of three hours in length. There were no restrictions on their choice of genre, nor was there a common theme or any inhibitions on the voice the story must be told in.
Returning writers came up with tales very distinct from what they created in the second volume, and new participants brought their voices and storytelling skills into the mix. The end result is another volume that raises the bar even further for this series, delivering entertaining, thought-provoking, and well-crafted tales for readers of all kinds to enjoy and immerse in.
Discover a highly talented group of up-and-coming writers dedicated to the craft of writing and the art of storytelling in Marathonarium III, and never forget…Your Imagination is the Foundation!
