Imaginarium 2026 is proud to announce the addition of two new Panels and one new Workshop to our programming! There will be over 135 panels and workshops hosted in our 13th year, so make sure to check back regularly on our official site to see all new additions!
The titles, presenters, and descriptions for these new programming additions are as follows:
New Panels Added:
Rewrite the Century: An Interactive Alternate History Panel: Moderator – TBA. Bring your imagination and your favorite “What Ifs!” In this interactive session, a panel of speculative fiction authors will take a historical turning point suggested by the audience and build a brand-new, functional alternate world right on stage. Watch the creative process happen in real time as we map out the immediate aftermath, the technological shifts, and the potential conflicts of a broken timeline. Perfect for writers looking to spark new ideas or fans who love debating the fragile threads of human history. Bring your questions, your strangest historical trivia, and let’s break the clock together. (60 min)
Where the Wild Books Are: A Magical Reading Adventure!: Moderator – Alyssa Davis. Are you ready to turn the page on a brand-new adventure? Join us for an unforgettable, interactive reading presentation designed to ignite a lifelong love of books in young readers! What to Expect: A Very Special Guest: Keep your eyes peeled for the Dragon! Don’t worry, he’s swapped his fire-breathing for book-breathing. He loves more than a good story and a room full of happy readers. Interactive Storytelling: We’ll journey through enchanted lands and explore the magic of imagination together.
Photo Op: Don’t forget your camera! Every child will get a chance to high-five a dragon and take a legendary photo.
Parent’s Note: This presentation focuses on building early literacy skills, fostering imagination, and showing children that reading is the ultimate superpower.
This isn’t your average storytime. We are bringing stories to life—literally!
