Imaginarium 2026 is proud to announce the addition of one new Workshop and one new Panel to our programming! There will be over 135 panels and workshops hosted in our 13th year, so make sure to check back regularly on our official site to see all new additions!

The titles, presenters, and descriptions for these new programming additions are as follows:

New Workshop Added:

Crafting Cross-Genre: Presented by Sara Marian. Tired of tropes and ready for a twist? Rules were made to be broken, right? Break out of the genre box in this workshop, where we’ll talk about crafting a good story that takes a reader places they’ve never been before. Whether you’ve already got a cross-genre project in mind or are looking for a new idea, this workshop will provide writing advice for creating the unexpected. Through an informal talk, Q&A, and interactive exercises, we’ll fire up our imaginations and maybe even come up with some novel ideas (pun entirely intended).

New Panel Added:

Grimoires and Gravy: Moderated by Michael Knost. Join our panel of deep south authors that will include KB Carlisle, Jesse James Fain, Logan Stovall, and Michael LaVoice as they discuss southern culture and how it melds with fiction. From iconic characters to burgeoning new subgenres and humor to heritage. By the end, a few surprises might even be revealed.
