Imaginarium 2023 proudly welcomes award winning teacher, performer and choreographer Safiya Nawaara as a Spotlighted Guest! Safiya is the owner and artistic director of Arabesque World Dance in Lexington, Kentucky, and she will be performing at the Imaginarium 2023 Awards Banquet!
Safiya has been performing and teaching Raqs Sharqi (belly dance) for 22 years. Her specialties include the traditional and folkloric dances from the Middle East, North Africa and the Mediterranean.
