Arlan is the author of over 500 stories, articles, column pieces, and other publications in science fiction, speculative technology, the paranormal, UFOs, ancient civilizations, humor, and politics, in more than 100 venues worldwide.
A futurist, Arlan has also appeared in the popular television show Ancient Aliens. Arlan also directs SIGMA, the science fiction think tank, composed of science fiction writers, a group he founded while working at the White House Science Office.
