William Alan Webb graduated from the University of Memphis with concentrations in History and Creative Writing. During a 50+ year writing career, he has written more than 500 paid book reviews, 25+ novels both alone and with a co-author, dozens of shorter works, edited more than a dozen anthologies, and in excess of 50 books in German. He is a partner in Chris Kennedy Publishing International, the publisher for Quillcraft Press, an imprint of Chris Kennedy Publishing, and co-founder of Greyweaver Press.

Webb is the Father of the popular Hit World Universe, the Last Brigade Universe, Time Wars (of which the first book is an Imadjinn Award winner), Sharp Steel & High Adventure, The Core (along with Kayla Krantz), and Judgement Day. Along with his fiction, Webb is a military historian. His series Killing Hitler’s Reich began with The Battle for Austria, 1945, and continues in 2023 with The Battle for Velikiye Luki, 1942-1943.
