Sallyanne Monti is an author, editor, and storyteller. Her descriptive, provocative, and compelling narratives draw readers into page-turning tales. Sallyanne’s Light at the End of the Tunnel, A Memoir steeps the reader in heartfelt candor and an abundance of Monti’s unique wit. It won the 2019 Imadjinn Awards Nonfiction Book of the Year. Her fiction and non-fiction short stories, poems, and articles have appeared in numerous anthologies, magazines, and newspapers.

Sallyanne’s next body of work is a poetry collection that will release in December 2021, called Poems and Provocations, Loves Pain and Pleasures.

Sallyanne has a two-decade history as a leading activist on the journey to Marriage Equality. She’s participated as a key board member for many leading community, literary, business, and pride organizations, and produced and hosted monthly nonprofit talent showcases, featuring singers, songwriters, musicians, artists, authors, editors, publishers, and leading partners, such as Curve Magazine and Olivia Travel for Women. In her spare time, she enjoys composing music, playing guitar, and singing.

Sallyanne and her wife Mickey have four adult children, three grandchildren, and two fur babies. They live in Palm Springs, California and, Sedona, Arizona, where they hike the mountains and the Red Rocks every chance they get.
