The ideas and themes that surround myth and fables have fueled my ambitions and studies throughout my early life, college, and adulthood. Literary pieces from classical Greek, Roman, Norse, Finnish, Chinese, Japanese, Early Christian, and Early Medieval Eras have inspired much of what the Fantasy genre is today. The early narrators of our collective human history relied on stories to emphasize morals, faults, consequences, passions, and a multitude of events that affects us, even today.

I have lived and labored in countryside subdivisions, college towns, suburbs, city centers, even another country, while currently my wife, son, and I call Southwest Wisconsin and the Driftless Area home. The river valleys, hills, natural preserves, and wonderful small towns help inspire some of the themes, characters, and settings that I write.
