Nathan Day multi-award-winning novelist, actor (Broken Contentment), and screenwriter (Apostate). He has the distinction of being the first-ever winner of the Author Academy Award for Fantasy (2018) as well as the 2018 Imaginn Award for Best Urban Fantasy.

He has been called a Renaissance Man, passionately expressing himself as an actor, director, screenwriter, songwriter, producer of film and music and now author.

A Kentucky native, he won The Young Author’s Award in the fourth grade and harbors an obsession for telling and collecting stories through any medium. He has appeared in over 60 film and television projects including Stash, Snapped! Killer Couples, Return to Dust, and Bulletsong, the latter of which he also wrote and directed.

His literary works mix deeply emotional character drama with the realms of fantasy, horror/cosmic horror, gritty crime noir, and science fiction. His current published works include Orphan Surfacing, Orphan Desecration, and The Devil’s a Lie. His upcoming works include Through the Tempest Black (cosmic horror anthology – as editor), Pilgrimage (cosmic horror novella), Ours is the Night (psychological vampire horror), Orphan Advent (urban fantasy/horror/science fiction) and the Slainlands series (dark fantasy).
