William Rayst is the pen name of Columbus, Ohio writer William Stackpole. For fun and beer money he breathes life into mundane technical manuals at a local insurance company. At the end of the day, you’ll find him pursuing his creative interests in young adult fiction and poetry. His work to date includes forays into fantasy, horror, contemporary humor and the historical sci-fi series, The Caldor Heets Adventures. William is also a founding member of the Columbus writing group, Creative Minds – Columbus, and transforms himself into a writing juggernaut each November for NaNoWriMo.
