Imaginarium 2016 Dates Announced!

The dates for the third annual Imaginarium Convention are October 7-9 of 2016, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.

The nation’s premier creative writing convention, Imaginarium 2016 will continue the mission to provide exceptional programming in a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Expanded gaming, the film festival, music events, the costume contest/masquerade, expo, and more will take place with well over 100 panels and a series of workshops at the center covering all aspects of writing, publishing, screenwriting, game design and more! Be sure to also get ready for the debut of the Imadjinns, a series of new literary awards!

To celebrate Imaginarium 2016, throughout the month of October, special early registration and vendor savings are being offered. A weekend pass can be reserved for just $50 and vendor space can be reserved for just $70. A variety of sponsorship options are also available now.

A full dinner buffet will be served at the awards banquet which will feature the announcements of the Imaginarium 2014 Film Festival Winners, along with several other awards and the unveiling of a new series of Literary Awards to debut in 2015.

Imaginarium Film Festival Award Categories

Imaginarium 2014’s Film Festival will debut a new series of awards for projects being screened at the event. Awards for 2014 will be given in 11 categories, with a winner and runner-up declared in each category. Added emphasis has been given to screenplays as Imaginarium is a convention centered around creative writing. Awards reflecting this included Best Plot Development, Best Screenplay, and Best Character Development.

Imaginarium 2014 is proud to announce the film festival screening schedule for our premiere event.

The main schedule will run Friday evening and throughout Saturday, with most short films organized into two large short film blocks, alongside features and special exhibitions.
