Melissa McCaughan, the author of Legacy, is a literal ghost writer, choosing ghosts as the protagonists of her novels. She is currently working on a sequel, Epiphany, coming out later this year. She teaches an Adventure e-course called There’s No Place Like Home: Finding Adventure in Your Own Backyard and writes a blog called Carpe Diem.
She has Master’s degrees from Xavier University and Northern Kentucky University in English and Teaching. She taught Journalism at Transylvania University. She is a freelance writer who updates social media accounts for local businesses. You can often find her giggling in a coffee shop, reading in the park or writing in a cemetery. She lives in Georgetown, Kentucky with her husband, son, pugador and chihuahua.
