As an undergraduate at IU Southeast I have acted as Managing Editor of a Creative Writing Magazine, Writer and Editor of a Nonfiction Magazine, and have conducted Research on subjects such as: Creative Writing in the Writing Center, The Writing Style of H.P. Lovecraft and J.R.R. Tolkien, The Influence of Nuclear Energy in Science Fiction, Research as a Fundamental Component of Novel Writing, and a Creative Works Grant Presentation at a total of eight academic conferences. Due to my expertise on the subject of H.P. Lovecraft I have been invited to lecture for an undergraduate audience. I am also a member of the International Society for the Fantastic in the Arts.

As a writer I am a part of literary communities such as The New Albanian Writer’s Group and The Howl! at the Moon Writer’s Group/ False Key Writer’s Group. I have ten publications varying from Short Fiction, Poetry, and Essays in various venues which all share themes of Magic, Horror, the Fantastic and Speculative, and the Aesthetic.

I have also won a handful of awards from college writing contests.
