Jamie Marchant is the author of the epic fantasy series, The Kronicles of Korthlundia, the first three volumes of which are The Goddess’s Choice (Reliquary Press, 2012), The Soul Stone (Black Rose Writing 2015), and The Ghost in Exile (Bewitching Fables Press, 2016). She is busily working on the next book in the series, which is yet to be titled. The Kronicles of Korthlundia are set in a epic fantasy world of Marchant’s creation and filled with magic and adventure. The Goddess’s Choice is the rewriting of a little known fairy tale, “The Princess and the Glass Hill,” for an adult audience. Marchant didn’t want to leave Korthlundia with the completion of the first volume, and her fans are glad she didn’t. She has also published a novella, titled Demons in the Big Easy. This novella is an urban fantasy set in New Orleans. Her short fiction has been published in the anthologies–Urban Fantasy and Of Dragons & Magic: Tales of the Lost Worlds—as well as in the publications, Bards & Sages, The World of Myth, A Writer’s Haven, and Short-story.me. When she is not writing, Jamie teaches writing and literature at Auburn University. She lives in Auburn, Alabama, with her husband and four cats, which (or so she’s been told) officially makes her a cat lady.
