Jonathan Meadows Deadlands RPG!The town of Desolation Peak lies on the edge of a cliff as far away from civilization as it gets. Word around town is that the railroad is coming soon, but until then, Desolation Peak is on its own. Oh, I know what you’re asking yourself, why would anyone want to live in such a remote town? Well, the answer is simple, and like most things in life, comes down to greed. They say there is gold up in them mountains, and many men have set out for Desolation Peak intending to build their fortunes, paying no mind to the lives of the families they drag along with them. To those in the know, Desolation Peak is known as the town of widows and orphans. You see, the shelf life of an adventurer just isn’t that long and most of them wind up dead before the season changes. Law and order just doesn’t exist out there. I mean, sure, they have a sheriff, same as any other town, but they elect a new one each week if that tells you anything. Most of those who take up the mantle of sheriff are good men just trying to do right and protect the town, but it never matters, the good and the bad die just the same…covered in blood and crying out for their momma.   what surprises me is that you and your posse, knowing all of this, still decided to make the trip out there. When the Twin Springs Mining Company first approached you and offered to pay 150 gold each if you could put an end to Black Jack Ketchum and his Hole in the Wall Gang, why, you didn’t even hesitate, you just packed your bags and headed out west.

D6 or Die–  Strike!  (Star Wars D6) Jason Dour–The Wedge Sector has had relative ease compared to other sectors of space as the Imperial hand tightened in the galaxy.  But rumors are spreading of increased Imperial controls in the infamous sector.  Organa has heard of a hidden shipment of Imperial weapons being smuggled into the sector.  He has assembled a strike force hastily to respond to this new and immediate threat.
